Work-in-progress sharing, Claire Keating
Dance Limerick Performance Space - Dance Limerick Performance Space (St. John's church), John's Square, Limerick
As part of her residency, interdisciplinary artist Claire Keating will offer a sharing on Friday, 30 October at 12 pm at Dance Limerick Performance Space
Join Claire for a first look at her new solo work, Ololyga, marking the culmination of her Percolate residency. Ololyga takes its title from Anne Carson’s The Gender of Sound, referencing an ancient Greek “ritual shout peculiar to females.” This work draws on improvisational frameworks of movement and vocal textures to investigate the embodiment of power.
All are welcome to attend. Free entry.
