Beginners Hip Hop

Dance Limerick recently introduced a new intergenerational beginners Street Dance class. After the success of the first term, we are offering another seven-week course that will focus on the foundations, technique and body conditioning necessary for Street Dance. 

The aim of these classes is to promote fun and fitness, deepen participants' understanding of Street Dance terminology and culture and provide a sense of community. Our teachers will help you gain an understanding into the world of performance, cyphers and battles and there will be an opportunity for those who wish to develop this aspect of the culture and showcase their work.

These classes are open to all skill levels and abilities. No previous dance experience is required; simply come as you are.

(Underage participants' parents/guardians will be asked to stay in the foyer while class is taking place). 

This 7-week term will run on:

Tuesdays 27 October; 3, 10, 17, 24 November & 1, 8 December - 7.30 to 8.30 pm
