Pro class with Aoibhinn O'Dea

Dance artist Aoibhinn O'Dea will enjoy a Percolate residency at Dance Limerick this autumn. During it, she will open the doors to professional dancers and dance students to share some of her practice through a morning class.
Aoibhinn's class will consist of:
Warm up - Qigong/Pilates/yoga practice - focusing on flexibility, muscle connection/strength and grounding the body
Floor Work - finding fluid ways to come in and out of the floor.
Improvisation techniques - to find rhythm, vocabulary of movement, and a curiosity in your movement patterns.
Acro Partnering/Contact improv - working on strength and finding ways to move in relation to each other.
Instant Composition - using intuition, the space and others in the room to move.
