Pit (20 min)
Choreographed and Performed by Alex Vostokova
‘Pit’ is about public space and the social, psychological, and ecological effects of modern urbanism. Set in an unspecified metropolis where concrete has purged all natural life, one defiant weed persists. Thework blurs the lines between its fictional world and the reality of contemporary life, provoking audiences to reflect on the relationship between performance, power and pedestrian.
‘Pit’ emerged from a commission by CoisCéim Dance Theatre as part of BENCH, a collection of short, original dance works curated by David Bolger, highlighting everyday sspaces as creative places, www.coisceim.com/productions/bench-6-alex-vostokova/

Foot of the Lungs (12 min)
Choreographed and Performed by Aoibhinn O’Dea
This piece builds on Aoibhinn's ongoing interest in the dialogical relationship between sound and movement. She uses improvisational movement to create soundscapes through the body, exploring themes of connection and community, with breath as a central thread linking the internal body to the external world.
Choreographed and performed by Aoibhinn O'Dea with support from Mary Nunan and the Arts Council

Everynothing (30 min)
Choreographed by Salma Ataya. Performed by Sarah Flavelle, Martha Tribe and Sean O’Neill
In Everynothing three dancers search for moments of stillness and clarity in a precarious world that never stops moving. They explore what it means to stay alert yet at ease, to rest while in motion, and to find space where there is none. This quiet, powerful piece by Palestinian choreographer Salma Ataya is both an act of resistance and a reflection on how we survive when everything and nothing happen at once.
Everytnothing is Produced by Belfast International Arts Festival and funded by The British Council's International Collaboration Grant.
