Inclusive Dance Club for ages 5-13

INCLUSIVE DANCE CLUB is an inspiring creative dance DL Bridge project, led by DL.Bridge artist Katy Hewison collaborating with local dance artists, for young people aged 5 to 13 with a disability. This project enables participants to learn new dance skills and gain a sense of belonging to a group. It is an opportunity for them to carry out a dance activity in an out of school environment, making new friends and meeting new role models that understand and support their needs. Classes are led following children's interests, energy and creative ideas, children can dance 1-1 with artists and peers, along with group activities, rest time and reflective drawing.

This 7-week term will run on:

Saturdays 17, 24, 31 January; 7, 21, 28 February and 7 March – 2 to 2.45 pm

(There will be no class on Saturday the 14th of February for What Next Dance Festival)
