Pro class with Isabella Oberländer

In these classes, Isabella will share some of their influences and ways of working with improvisational tools and choreographic containers that have shaped their practice.

The nature of the approach is eclectic and will source from chi-cultivation techniques such as Qi Gong (energy circulation technique) as a warm up. Improvisation, speculative fiction and physical anchors are central to orchestrating our attention and listening to our states of dance. Dancing can offer itself as a playground where concepts can be questioned, digested and embodied - in the joy of movement and the solidarity of sweat.
