Bád Shiobhán - Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín

Bád Shiobhán (Siobhán’s Boat) is a new work by choreographer Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín featuring her father, traditional boat-builder Pádraig Ó Duinnín.

The piece is a subtle re-configuring of life experiences they share, particularly those that have been moulded by the culture and tradition of boats and boat-building. Bád Shiobhán is a delicate unpicking of a daughter-father relationship through movement, text and song and an invitation to view tradition, familial and otherwise, in a different light.
