Ballet is a technical form of dance training with its own vocabulary based on French terminology. As well as being good for the body and mind it requires discipline and focus.
This class promotes fitness, good posture, balance, flexibility, coordination, spatial awareness and rhythm.
You will learn ballet positions and patterns in a traditional structured class, consisting of a warm up, barre and centre exercises, and finally, a relaxing warm down routine incorporating improvised movements to music.
